2. Your pilot confirms the time, duration & cost
Your pilot can accept, decline or suggest alternative times based on their availability and the availability of the aircraft.
3. Pay, show up and take off!
If you're happy with the quoted flight time and cost, secure your booking and we'll see you at the airfield!
The UK's Civil Aviation Authority is implementing a new regulation in October 2025 which will sadly make it uneconomical for us to continue operating.
The new regulation aims to tackle illegitimate aircraft charter companies, but it also unfortunately introduces new rules which means it's no longer economical to run our business, website & booking platform. The new rules make it so the pilot has to pay an equal share of the cost alongside the passengers, making it impossible to legally recoup the costs of running our service. As a non-profit, we were already operating at a loss, and this regulation amplifies that loss to an extent which no longer makes sense.
If you would like to book a flight experience after October 2025, the only reasonable & safe way to do this is to book through an approved flight training school.
If you'd like to fly with the same great people & continue supporting a local business, we'd recommend booking your experience with Yorkshire Aero Club (YAC), who are also based at Sandtoft Airfield.
